Ned Colletti and Frank McCourt don't want to get the team into a bidding war with itself, which is understandable. But is it a smart thing to do to wait until the last day before we seriously try to sign him? This decision is going to make or break the team for next season, the Dodger management should be worried about the economy if they don't sign Manny. Is a 4 year/100 million$ contract too much for a "Winning Machine" that is guaranteed to produce a 300ba,30+hr,100+rbi,100+r with huge merchandise and ticket sales? My advise to Ned and Frank, "just lock up the deal or else you'll be sorry"! We'll be responsible for one of the biggest blunders in baseball history right after having the best sports moment of ' 08!
